Some models spend years upon years trying to make it into the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. And most never make it. Michelle "Shelly" Jenneke born 23 June 1993 is an Australian hurdler and model, who won a silver medal for the 100 m hurdles at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics. She received worldwide media attention in 2012 for her pre-race warm-up, which involved dancing. She attended The Hills Grammar School. In one interview, she described her hobbies as Australian rules football, soccer and handball.

Jenneke has trained with coach Mick Zisti as a hurdler from the age of 10 at the Cherrybrook Athletics Club. She competed at the Canberra hosted 2008 Pacific School Games in the 90 and 200 metres hurdles.

Jenneke finished 2nd at nationals to qualify for the 2015 World Championships in Beijing (28/05/15) Jenneke got through the heats to make the semi-finals and in her semi she finished 6th, however her reaction time in that semi-final was the quickest of all competitors over the three semi-finals.

Then there are all my friends within Athletics and my training squad who all make Athletics a fantastic experience and a truly enjoyable place to spend time. Winning races is always nice, but for me the motivation is the desire to improve my times and achieve new personal bests, whilst having a great time doing it. If you watched the Olympics last year, you’ll remember Australian track and field star Michelle Jenneke and her curvy good looks. Well, she’s back posting her goods on Instagram trying to stay on our minds in between Olympic events.

Sabina Altynbekova was just another 18-year-old girl before she turned up in the Taiwanese capital Taipei to compete for Kazakhstan in the Asian Under-19 Championships. Sabina was born in 1996 in the city of Aktobe (western Kazakhstan). Now she lives and studies in Almaty in southern Kazakhstan.

Sabina Altynbekova is part of Kazakhstan's Junior Volleyball Team. The team was taking part at the 17th Asian Junior Women's Volleyball Championship in the city of Taipei from July 16-24, when Chinese fans noticed her. From the very beginning of the championship, the young athlete was in the spotlight because of her appearance: she looks very much like a character from Japanese anime. Her Instagram account was a rise from 100 followers to over 180 thousand in just several day. Most of her new fans are from South East Asia. Later, her name began to appear in the Western media, too.

The appealing digital imagery is part of Sabina Altynbekova which is sorted within Sabina Altynbekova wallpaper. she became an Internet sensation when she traveled with her team to Taipei, Taiwan, as part of the Kazakh team taking part in the 2014 Asian Junior Women's Volleyball Championship, where she quickly took center stage because of her beauty. The Kazakhstan team finished the tournament in 7th place, with Altynbekova rarely playing in the matches. Nurlan Sadikov, her coach on Kazakhstan's national team has complained about the phenomenon, saying "It is impossible to work like this. The crowd behaves like there is only one player at the championship."

Now local media that would normally only write a couple of lines about the competition are devoting 10 page picture features about her and artists are turning out anime fantasies about her. But her sudden move to centre stage has left members of her own team slightly miffed, and now media in her homeland have slammed the obsession with her. "Fans just stare at her and they are not following the championship any more". Reported Vesti, a respected Kazakh daily paper.

Simona Halep has self-described her playing style as being "an aggressive baseliner"  and "she models her game on Justine Henin". Henin herself said of Halep, "She has an intelligent game. There is a little something that reminds me of myself... it is offensive and aggressive." In 2010, before her breakthrough, New York Times columnist Michael Kimmelman described her as "a scrappy player from Romania, short but with potent ground strokes and a scrambler's talent."

By 2014, Louisa Thomas of Grantland was writing with admiration that "it turns out that [Simona] is astonishingly fast. She started to think ahead during points, she has uncanny anticipation. She became even faster her strokes became more simple: compact, beautiful, unreadable. she learned to disrupt the opposition’s rhythm and disguise her own. At her best, she does not play in patterns. She hits with surprising power. She covers the whole court. She hits balls with heavy power without making a sound.  Like Djokovic she has a talent for hitting winners from defensive positions. She is a defensive aggressor, an aggressive defender. She is becoming unclassifiable." After Halep finished runner-up in her first Grand Slam final against powerful hitter Maria Sharapova in Roland Garros in 2014, Eleanor Crooks of The Independent wrote that Halep "has a lovely fluidity of movement and superb balance that enables her to comfortably trade with more powerful players". Michael Beattie of Wimbledon.org also noticed that [Halep] "is free of the shrieks, tics and fist-pumps of her contemporaries."

In terms of tennis strategy Halep is an aggressive counterpuncher. Her very fit body and athleticism provide her with very good all-court movement and she tends to make few errors; she also uses this agility to reach the ball earlier because of her wide back swings and sliding. At the same time she likes to control the rally and can hit very effective cross-court and down-the-line flat shots, generally producing winners.

Halep opened campaign defeating Eugenie Bouchard in straight sets. On 22 October 2014, Halep beat two-time defending champion Serena Williams 6-0, 6-2 at the WTA Finals, with the American's two games won equaling her career worst. The last time Williams managed to win just two games in a WTA Tour or Grand Slam match was in 1998 when she was just 16.[60] Halep lost the final match in the round robin group to Ana Ivanovic, but secured an appearance in the semifinals. Then she advanced to the final after beating Agnieszka Radwańska in straight sets. In the final match, she once again faced Williams, but this time lost to her in straight sets 6-3, 6-0.
