Marco Parolo, born 25 January 1985 is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a centre midfielder for Serie A club Lazio and the Italian national team. An offensive-minded player, Parolo is known for his tendency to make attacking runs, and also possesses a keen eye for goal due to his powerful, accurate shooting ability from distance, with either foot.

He received his first national team call-up on 20 March 2011, for a friendly match and UEFA Euro 2012 qualifying. The technical director of Cesena, Lorenzo Minotti, hinted Parolo would receive a call-up on 15 March in an interview by il Resto del Carlino.
